Sous la clairvoyante initiative du ministre chargé des finances et du budget #HervéNdoba, une rencontre relative au projet de modernisation des bases logistiques de Douala et Kribi a eu lieu, le 05 avril, dans l’une des salles de conférences de l’Hôtel la Falaise Bonanjo, de Douala (Cameroun). La délégation centrafricaine, conduite par le directeur de cabinet du ministère des finances et du budget, Alain Modeste Kondji, s’est tout d’abord entretenue avec la société sud-africaine COEGA Corporation Development et les représentants des pouvoirs publics de la République du Cameroun des questions ultimes portant sur la mise en route dudit projet.
En suite, l’enjeu et de l’ossature du projet ont fait l’objet d’une présentation de la part de la société COEGA Corporation Developpement à la partie centrafricaine composée des représentants du ministère des finances et du budget, dont le directeur général des douanes et droits indirects, Frédéric Théodore Inamo, du ministère des transports et de l’aviation civile, du ministère du commerce et de l’industrie et du Groupement Interprofessionnel de Centrafrique (GICA), porte voie des opérateurs économiques, représenté par son président ,Laurence Nassif. Ce beau monde a posé sur la table de discussions toutes ses préoccupations.
Notons que les échanges ont essentiellement porté sur les aspects technique, financier, juridique, environnemental et méthodologique du projet. M. Laurence Nassif du GICA, a mis une emphase sur la question de l’utilisation du GPS qui, constitue un véritable casse-tête pour les importateurs centrafricains. « Il faut y trouver une solution idoine, car c’est une préoccupation pour les autorités camerounaises qui luttent contre la dissémination des marchandises destinées à la RCA, sur son territoire », a-t-il martelé.
En effet, pays enclavé, la RCA utilise le port de Douala et de Kribi pour son import/export. Raison pour laquelle, le gouvernement travaille à offrir un service de qualité aux opérateurs du secteur. Pour le ministre Ndoba, il faut optimiser le corridor Douala-Bangui, en offrant aux usagers des bases logistiques répondant aux standards internationaux en la matière.
Il est expédient de rappeler que ces discussions de qualité indéniable vont se poursuivre jusqu’à la fin de cette semaine et verra la participation du gardien des cordons de la bourse centrafricain. L’heure est donc venue de retrousser les manches, afin que le Centrafricain lambda puisse connaitre une vie épanouie et que le panier de la ménagère réponde aux besoins vitaux des populations.

#MFB-RCA: TRIPARTITE MEETING ON THE PROJECT TO MODERNISE THE CUSTOMS LOGISTICS BASES OF DOUALA AND KRIBI
Under the initiative of the minister for finance and budget #HervéNdoba, a meeting on the modernisation project of the Douala and Kribi logistic bases took place on 5, April in a conference room of the Hotel la Falaise Bonanjo in Douala (Cameroon). The Central African Republic’s delegation led by the director of cabinet of the ministry for finance and budget, Alain Modeste Kondji, discussed with the South African COEGA Corporation Development and representatives of the public authorities of the Republic of Cameroon, the final issues for the implementation of the project.
After the presentation of the stakes and the framework of the project, the Central African party composed of representatives of the ministry for finance and budget including the director general of customs and indirect rights, Frédéric Théodore Inamo, the ministry of transport and civil aviation, the ministry of trade and industry and the Interprofessional Grouping of the Central African Republic (GICA), the representative of economic operators, represented by its president Laurence Nassif, put all their concerns on the table.
It should be noted that the exchanges mainly focused on the technical, financial, legal, environmental and methodological aspects of the project. Mr. Laurence Nassif of GICA put a focus on the issue of using GPS, which is a real headache for Central African national importers. "An appropriate solution must be found, as this is a concern for the Cameroonian authorities who are fighting against the dissemination of goods destined for the CAR on their territory," he said.
Indeed, as a landlocked country, CAR uses the port of Douala and Kribi for its import/export. For this reason, the government is working to offer a quality service to operators in the sector. For minister Ndoba, it is necessary to optimise the Douala-Bangui corridor by offering users logistics bases that meet international standards in Douala and Kribi, which are the entry and exit points for Central African raw materials and goods.
It’s worth recalling that these high quality discussions will continue until the end of this week and will see the participation of the guardian of the Central African purse strings. The time has come to roll up our sleeves so that the average Central African can live a fulfilling life and so that the household basket meets the vital needs of the population.
